So 24 hours ago I made a re-post on Digg about Kevin's response back to my letter and it was a pretty good response. I have the number 1 post in the last 24 hours, and the fourth most popular post in the last week! I really hope this story gets onto Diggnation because that would be really cool! There are going to be a lot of changes coming up in the next few days after I finish my exams and I'm going to need some help from the Digg community. More on that later!
Cheers,
The Prodigy

Hey, I'm in your CSC course and saw you mentioned you were doing polisci last yr. Couldn't figure out how else to contact you except this and looking like an idiot on the course bulletin.. So..
What I really really wanted to know so badly was what polisci was like for you. Good, bad, intense, practical, or just presented like theoretical crap in your opinion? Helpful staff? What about content-wise? Yeah, I'm grilling you here but would seriously appreciate some "1337" comments from one who's been there. Thanks :)
Poli was cool... Just not for me! I went to Upper Canada and wanted to be a lawyer. I used to do film there, and even now I have a video production gig at Robarts. It just wasn't for me. And quite frankly UofT isn't for me! I'm going to Ryerson for either New Media or Film. Poli sci was cool though. Look out for Prof. Kopstein. You will learn so much from that man, it isn't funny, and quite frankly... You'll actually enjoy it too!!! If that's what you're into, you'll really enjoy it!
Thanks for the tip! Upper Canada, you mean UCC? If so, we were in brother/sister schools and I totally understand the way they love to breed students. My bro graduated from film, maybe he knows something that could help you? If theres anything you'd like to know, I'm glad to return the favour.
Thanks... I would just like to know if he enjoys the program? What school did you go to? BSS? I'm Andre btw! Nice to sorta meet you! Haha.
Yup I was your neighbour! I actually boarded there from gr7 until grad. Uber long time. My bro is actually going for his second degree now but his first was film studies and special effects (a la lucas) which he did in the US. He's a self-proclaimed film geek. When he got a new TV he rented a ton of dvds to fast forward through just to see them in hi-def. So... he enjoyed the program - A LOT. If you're anything like that, you'll probably have a lot of fun like he did! One thing though, the reason he's going for his 2nd degree is bc there isn't a lot of ppl hiring in film right now so he needs to expand his options. I rbr UCC had a pretty famous summer film pgm so even as an old boy they can still hook you up with some good info about the field.
